HEALTH IN THE COMMUNITY
We realise that everyone learns at a different pace and in different ways...
By sharing skills, information & food knowledge we inspire the community to learn of the various ways they can improve their health & lifestyle. We help to implement the necessary changes in a way that is tailored to individual needs, which increases self awareness & confidence.
Helping the community to understand how lifestyle choices impact the environment - our areas of expertise being the plant based lifestyle, natural products & waste reduction.
Physical, emotional & mental health can all be improved via lifestyle / food choices. We create support packages tailored to individual needs.
Cooking together improves communication & inter-generational interaction. We create a fun environment for learning vital life-skills.
Healthy communities means people working together to fulfill their own & collective goals. We want to ensure that everyone who comes into contact with us benefits personally.
We are supporting our local community through the Covid-19 pandemic, by providing parcels of nutritious hot meals prepared using supermarket surplus stock & providing a Natural First Aid Kit.
Although things are very uncertain, one thing that is certain is statistics show that being & staying healthy are vital.
Our natural defense, the immune system, is responsible for defending us against all pathogens (bacteria & viruses).
Fresh fruit & vegetables, contain certain vitamins & minerals which strenghtens the body & immune system, of course we can also get short term support via supplements.... but feeding the body well is a great way to manage and improve general health.
So throughout the pandemic we are: -
Providing free hot meals, with other community groups as our suppliers & customers. These 3 course meals provide 3-5 portions of our daily fruit & vegetable portions
the Natural First Aid Kit of supplements & oils to help boost our immune system and help our body to relax, de-stress, whilst we stay home.
By donating you support our work helping the vulnerable whilst we all #stayhome.
